Remote Support Application Instructions
Using the CS4U Remote Support Application
ComputerStuff4You offers a 24x7 365 help desk support to solve your IT needs.
1. Downloading the Application
First and foremost, you must download the application. Please click here to download the Remote Support Application. A window will pop up, please click Run or Save (if you wish to use it later).
2. Allowing The Download
If using Microsoft Internet Explorer, your browser may ask you to confirm the download. All executables must go through this process to safeguard a user from making a potential mistake. We know what we're doing here, click Run and allow the download process to continue.
3. Wait For The Download to Complete
Because our remote support application is very small, the download should be done in a matter of seconds. If for any reason you are having trouble downloading a file, please notify the support technician you are communicating to immediately or notify us on our contact page.
4. Run the Remote Support Desktop Application
If you selected Run from step one, your application should start immediately. If you clicked Save, you must navigate to your downloads folder which by default is C:\[Your User Account Name]\Documents\Downloads. When the application is running, you should see a window similar to the image on the left. Please input the password provided by your Support Technician and follow any further steps your support technician provides.
